Alex Wynn is currently a Principle Investigator and Research Engineer at the MIT Center for Bits and Atoms, working on entropy limited computing with superconductor electronics. Previously, he spent 11 years as a Technical Staff Member at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, where he has focused on the development of scalable superconductor electronics through design, testing, packaging, and fabrication. He has lead programs developing memory and logic that compute near the universe’s energy limit, set by the relationship between entropy and information. He has also worked with venture capital and nonprofit organizations on technology areas including long duration energy storage and power transmission at the power grid scale.
