Jay LeFebvre obtained his PhD in Physics in 2021 from the University of California, Riverside, where his research focused on using focused ion beam microscopy to study cuprate superconductors. He completed his postdoctoral research at Sandia National Laboratories, where he studied qubits based on semiconductor quantum dots.
Since 2024, he has been working at the University of California, Riverside, as an Assistant Professional Researcher and Adjunct Faculty Member in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, where he continues to contribute to the development of the Center for Superconducting Quantum Electronics.
