Special Session: Quantum Computing, Information, and Engineering
Dr. Moe Khalil is an early-career scientist who attained a BS in physics from the University of Minnesota in 2007 and a PhD in physics from the University of Maryland-College Park in 2013. Among other accomplishments at Maryland, Moe developed a novel technique for studying losses in the material systems responsible for decoherence in superconducting qubits. In 2014, Moe joined the superconducting electronics group at Northrop Grumman where he has contributed to programs working on digital computing, gate-based quantum computing, and adiabatic quantum computing.
