New World Record Set for All-superconducting Magnet

A new world record for the highest magnetic field generated by all-superconducting magnets has been set by Prof. WANG Qiuliang's group from the Institute of Electrical Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The group developed an all-superconducting magnet with a central magnetic field of up to 32.35 Tesla (T).
