IEEE HART HardwAIre Challenge: Build the Future of Intelligent Hardware
Calling all IEEE CSC students and graduate students!
You are encouraged to participate in the IEEE HART HardwAIre Challenge, a global hands-on competition focused on the intersection of artificial intelligence and hardware engineering.
Student teams will design, build, and test a hardware prototype that integrates AI either into the design process or into the operation of the prototype itself.
Challenge details will be announced on 15 June 2026, and participation will be limited to 50 teams worldwide.
Accepted teams may receive financial support through the HART Lab-in-a-Box initiative to purchase components, tools, and instrumentation. The top three finalist teams will receive travel support to present their prototypes live at an IEEE event, with the winning team receiving a US$2,000 grand prize.
Faculty members, advisors, and post-docs are encouraged to share this opportunity with eligible students and help them begin forming multidisciplinary teams.
