In this talk, Lorenzo shares his experience as an early-career professional walking an unconventional career path. Over the past years, he had the chance to work in world-class research institutes as well as in the industry sector, including a deep-tech start-up in the field of fusion for energy. This gave him a privileged perspective covering both public and private sectors. At the same time, such a journey required taking difficult decisions and troubled moments, but also deep satisfaction, and personal and professional growth.
