The goals of our efforts are to promote awareness of deleterious issues (e.g. implicit bias) and to challenge & foster our technical community to be socially responsible and conscious of their actions. The ASC 2018 conference attracted just over 10% female attendees Recent and Upcoming Activities: Please join us at the upcoming ASC 2020 Diversity and Inclusion in Science and Engineering Events. Our last event was held at the Applied Superconductivity Conference (ASC) 2018 and hosted ~50 attendees. At this event, we explored relevant topics and needs of the technical community and collected their recommendations. We are working on addressing these items during future events.
