CSC President-Elect Nomination Process

The nominations committee will compose a slate based on the nominations received. The committee members are Bruce Strauss (Chair), Antonio della Corte, Elie Track, and Sasha Ishmael. The President-Elect serves on the ExCom of CSC and becomes President when the term of the current President ends. The term of John Pryzbysz, our current president, ends on 31 December 2024. On 1st January 2025, the current President-Elect (Luisa Chiesa) will be the new IEEE-CSC President.
  • Nominations may be through self-nomination or by second parties.
  • Nominees must be IEEE members who are Senior Member grade or higher.
  • Please make sure the nominee has agreed to serve if elected.
To submit a nomination (2-page maximum) for the next President-Elect, please include the following required materials:
  • A photograph of the nominee
  • A brief description of the nominee’s qualifications for President-Elect
  • A brief biography of the nominee which includes:
    • A list of the nominee’s past and current IEEE activities
    • A list of the nominee’s past and current conference activities
    • A brief description of the nominee’s major professional accomplishments
Nominations must be received no later than Sunday, 30 June 2024 (11:59 PM EDT).
