Call for Volunteers

The IEEE Council on Superconductivity is hosting a Superconductor Wiki, a dynamic database of superconductor properties that has been developed as a tool for the R&D community. This database will allow users to quickly look up the key superconducting parameters of thousands of materials, and easily identify the peer-reviewed citations from which the data was obtained. This resource is a work in progress that depends on the community to add entries for the various properties including T_c, J_c, critical fields, specific heat, energy gap, structure parameters, etc. These submissions will be verified by a panel of curators who will confirm that they correspond to a peer reviewed publication.  The council is soliciting student and Young Professional volunteers to contribute to various aspects of this endeavor (curator, add existing data to the database, etc.).
