Award Categories:

1. Award for Continuing and Significant Contributions in the Field of Applied Superconductivity
   This award recognizes a career of meritorious achievements and outstanding technical contributions in applied superconductivity. Two awards are given annually — one for Small Scale Applications and one for Large Scale Applications. Honorees are recognized for their novel and innovative concepts, significant publications, and impactful presentations at major conferences.

2. IEEE Dr. James Wong Award for Continuing and Significant Contributions to Applied Superconductor Materials Technology
   This award celebrates individuals who have made meritorious achievements in applied superconductor materials technology over a career spanning more than 20 years. It highlights those who have introduced groundbreaking concepts and theories, contributed significantly to key publications, and influenced the development and maturity of applied superconductivity.

3. Max Swerdlow Award for Sustained Service to the Applied Superconductivity Community
   Named after the influential Max Swerdlow, this award honors individuals who have provided sustained service to the applied superconductivity community. It recognizes leadership, exceptional service, and advocacy that have had a lasting impact on the advancement of superconductivity technology.

4. IEEE CSC Graduate Study Fellowship in Applied Superconductivity
   This fellowship supports full-time graduate students pursuing a PhD (or equivalent) in applied superconductivity. It aims to encourage and inspire the next generation of leaders in the field by providing financial support during their studies.
