news | Thu, May 9th, 2024 facebook twitter linkedin Email The IEEE Council on Superconductivity is seeking nominations for its President-Elect to serve a two-year term from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2026. Following this term, the President-Elect will become President of the society, serving a two-year term from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2028. The procedure to nominate (or self-nominate) is as follows: Confirm that your nominee is a CSC affiliate, an IEEE Senior member or higher in good standing, and has agreed to serve if elected. Generate a complete nomination package, to include: A photograph of the nominee A brief description of the nominee’s qualifications for President-Elect A brief biography of the nominee which includes: a list of the nominee’s past and current IEEE activities, a list of the nominee’s past and current conference activities, and a brief description of the nominee’s major professional accomplishments Submit the complete nomination package here. The complete nomination package should be received by Sunday, 30 June 2024 (11:59 PM EDT) for full consideration. During its regularly scheduled Administrative Committee (AdCom) meeting of 2024, the CSC will elect from qualified nominees, the new President-Elect using the procedure prescribed by the CSC Bylaws, which you can find on the CSC website here.
