The IEEE Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control Society (UFFC-S) is an organization that promotes the advancement of the theory, technology, materials, and applications relating to the generation, transmission, and detection of ultrasonic waves and related phenomena; medical ultrasound, and associated technologies; ferroelectric, piezoelectric, and piezomagnetic materials; frequency generation and control, timing, and time coordination and distribution.

UFFC-S brings academics, industry professionals, researchers, and others involved in Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control access to the industry’s technical information, networking opportunities, career development tools, and many other benefits exclusive to the Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics and Frequency Control Society.

UFFC-S is proud to be a member society of the IEEE Council on Superconductivity (CSC). UFFC-S offers many free monthly workshops and would like to extend an invitation to any CSC Affiliates regardless of Society Membership, who would be interested in attending these events.
